Good morning all
I notice that Judith Edge has released an etched kit of the J63.
I rather like small dock shunters, and I'm wondering what the kit is like?
I've never built an etched kit, so do not want anything dificult.
I'm looking forward to getting back to modelling, after spending time decorating, and hurting my back in the process. I also shouldn't have taken on the job of remastering a lot of my CD collection (2500+). The trouble is that I'm easily led by "good ideas" that surface when I'm imbibing at the local hostelry.
Compliments of the season to all

I'm not sure they were that much direct from the maker when first released.

Re: Judith Edge J63
Is this the 7mm model that Garth Patrick produced under the GP Models label?
If so, Garth had a good reputation. I built two of his wagon kits and the intricate nickel silver chassis went together beautifully.
The bodies of those were resin which of course needed some bubble treatment - as all resin seems to require.

I'd also be interested to hear from anyone who's built this kit.

Good day all
I saw £60 plus postage. I would of course need wheels, motor and gearbox, which adds to the cost.
I did attempt to convert a LBSCR Terrier, but it only had the chassis wheelbase and boiler size in common.
