Gresley A1 paint question

Post by greenglade »

Hi guys, it's been a while since I last posted...I have a question which I thought that I had asked and been answered some years ago but for the life of me can't find the thread searching the forum so please forgive me for going over old ground.

It's the usual colour between frames question, I know it's red and I know which area is red and which is black, my question is which red was used? Is it the same as the buffer beam or is it vermilion like the lining?

Hope someone can give me a definitive answer and again my apologies for asking a question that's probably been asked a thousand times, I tried to search but failed to identify the 'red'

Kind regards

Pete

Hi guys

I have the answer from a source I trust...colour is same as the buffer beam, so buffer beam red or signal red...

cheers
