Flying Fox was a Leicester engine as was the Flying Scotsman briefly, if you look in the Mainline Lament book there are pictures in that.

I did some research regarding A3s on the GC in the 1950s a couple of years back, and if the file will attach properly (first time I've tried on here) this may help.

It seems all but Enterprise and Solario were in BR green by the end of 1952, with these last two repainted from blue in the first half of 1953. Most were gradually converted to LH drive during the same period (for which on a model the most obvious indication is the location of certain boiler pipework), so a degree of caution is needed in selecting the 'right' loco for any particular timeframe.
