Looks like, or similar to, the handiwork of Alan McDonald.

I can spot a few inaccuracies ....

Great stuff to find it viewable after all these years, so thanks v.m. silverfox.

I would do if I could access it silverfox but I can't see it on the pc that I am currently using but thanks all the same.

As far as the route between Kings Cross & Hitchin is concerned (except maybe for some parts of the Herford branch?) I still pretty much know the whole route between Kings Cross & Hitchin circa 1968-1975 but I wouldn't mind a look at it all the same.

Hmmm.
Glad I'm not seriously trying to learn the road from this one back then.
A few too many inaccuracies and omissions.

An interesting memory prompter though.
Thanks silverfox.

As for 'knowing the road well' between Kings Cross and Hitchin in 1968 that mite be a slight exaggeration on my part?.

As I was only a young teenager at the start of 1970 I actually already knew 'the road' quite well from 1968 onwards through travelling on the local passenger train services from Welwyn Garden City to Kings Cross and return and taking in the signalling on the Up & Down fast lines between Welwyn Garden City & Wood Green and the Up & Down fast, slow & goods lines between Wood Green & Kings Cross. As for the Welwyn Garden City-Hitchin length I didn't venture north of Welwyn Garden City to Hitchin by train until 1970 and that was only occasionally during the 1970-1974 era and as for the Hertford branch I rarely travelled over it during the early 1970s preferring to stay 'on the main line' via New Barnet & Hatfield all the time.
