Tommy Knox
Has anyone got a current website address for Tommy Knoxes site as i need to run a few things by him, currently looking for information on a King Arthur No.742 Camelot allegedly taking over a failed LNER pacific on the up Scotsman 18th December 1942 and getting to Newcastle only losing 9 minutes from Tweedmouth on a 20 coach train.
Hi interested in the area served by 52D. also researching colliery wagonways from same area.

Re: Tommy Knox
Sorry no info on Tommy Knox 52D but according to Wikipedia-
"Up to Ten "Urie King Arthurs" were transferred to the LNER in October 1942 and all ten locos went to Heaton shed for use on freight train workings but also on occasional passenger train workings in the north east and in southern Scotland with all 10 locos being returned to the southern in July 1943."

Latest contact details from Terry Bye’s Coupe News is “Tommy at lner-pacifics.me.uk”. As usual, replace “at” in the address.
