A small advance on the B1, splashers made and fitted but more work required.

J 17 finished, but I need to power up the chassis.

Back to the C1, a fair bit of work has been undertaken on the C1, rear axleboxes and trailing wheels fitted and the area around the smokebox has been filled in, looks quite different now, still a long way to go.

A couple of coats of paint later, she looks like this.....but it cost a paintbrush it's life after a couple of errant hairs painted the 'Green' Black. :x

That's looking really good manna and you're catching me up now. I've started to line mine but ran out of my painted decal film so had to paint up some more. Hopefully it'll be ready for slicing and applying on Monday.

Going to give the Atlantic a couple of days to dry before I do anything else to it, then I've got to sort out the chassis, so you're well ahead of me.

Although, yesterday I was out in the shed when I found a piece of plastic rod I was looking for (off a old blind) turns out it is the perfect size of the Atlantic cylinders, I only have to cut them to length and drill them out. :D

Leaving the C1 alone for a couple of days, so onward with the B1, lots of fiddly bits, mainly the cab roof, but she's now had a coat of paint, looks terrible, but it's only the first.

The C1 is looking good, there seem to be a lot of atlantics being made at the moment, we just need Mr King to make his now or Bachmann may beat him to it.
I like the camouflage on the B1, is it going out on D Day.

Just finished the lining on the C1 (not all of it, run out), the B1 looks better after a second coat.It dose look like camouflage.

Not a lot happening at the moment, spent most of this week laying a floating floor, so a achy back and sore knees.

trying to workout a backscene for Edgware, opposite the end of the tracks at Edgware there was a large building overlooking the station, but about a 100 yds away, but it still dominates the area.

A half hearted start to a new loco, a P1, using a 38xx chassis and a tender drive and fitted with D49 valve gear, it all seems to fit at the moment, but a long way to go.

Taken advantage of Hatton's sale, picked up two loco's, a Bachmann O4 and a Heljan O2, both will be backdated to LNER livery.

Also, i hope everybody has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, lets also hope Hornby, can come up with a couple of decent LNER models this year.

There is a lot going on Manna, great work!

If I might make a suggestion though; have you investigated if it is possible to turn the P1 chassis around the other way? That way the largest gap in the coupled wheelbase will be between the first and second driving wheels, just like the prototype.
