Cramlington c1915

Can anyone confirm that this is Cramlington c1915.

The curvature and the overbridge look right but the width of the platform and the sidings to the right do not. Hopefully someone will come up with the right answer.

I had a thought that it could be the north end of Tynemouth station, but I'm very unsure.

It's not Tynemouth North, too many signals on the post on the left, which was the location of the signal box of the same name. Nevertheless I'd love to know where this is.

After asking around, I can now confirm it is neither Cramlington, nor Tynemouth. Nor is it a North Eastern station.

In fact, it's not even LNER.

The station in the above photo is "Ludgershall" in Wiltshire, a station on the Midland & South Western Junction Railway, apparently the 18th Northumberland Fusiliers were on maneuvers at (or near) Salisbury Plain, below is a photograph of said station.

Just past the bridge, a branch splits from the M&SWJR to head towards Tidworth Camp, hence the signalling.

No, it doesn't look one little bit like Cramlington. But look at the height of those lamp posts. The highest I've ever seen from that era

Tynemouth would feature 3rd rail anyway.
