Seasons greetings and thanks

Post by Graeme Leary »

I would like to thank the many forum members who have kindly (and patiently) answered the many off-beat queries I've put on the forum during 2019 - all the responses and comments have been very much appreciated. They have been most helpful with what I'm trying to achieve on my North Eastern based layout and no doubt there will be more to come during 2020.

Merry Christmas to all and Happy Modelling.

Happy Christmas everyone

I can echo what Graeme Leary says. My modelling has improved and become more enjoyable since I discovered this forum.

THanks to all for their help and advice.

I am now clearing my spare bedroom to build my first proper layout.

Happy New Year to all, and hope to see some of you operating Grantham at Southampton.

Best Wishes to all, and keep up the standard of modelling.

Next year maybe we should also think about how we promote Railway Modelling as a small step to
saving the planet, since we often recycle materials and items that would otherwise be
thrown into land fill. New methods of improving our modelling with re-cycled items
would be both fun and useful. All households throw away so much plastic that we should be
able to use some of it in innovative ways.

Enjoy the break

G'Day Gents

I wish to send my Festive Greetings to everybody, from 'Down Under'.

And under the heading of recycling, I have only this past fortnight, had to dismantle two 'Flat-screen' TV's, there are lots of little screws (handy) Plenty of fine wire (hard to get hold of) and when you get to the screen, there is a large piece of flat white plastic, almost as big as the screen, (I'll NEVER have to buy any 2/2.5 mm again)................

Merry Christmas, Guys.

Merry Christmas all, hope you all have a fantastic day. I've opened my presents already, it appears my family believe I have a obsession with chocolate.....I will neither confirm or deny. 8)

Merry Christmas Paul.

How about a visit to the UK in 2020....?

Brighouse, not in Lancashire, unfortunately for me.
