Hopefully we are not getting too fed up with this snow but on the plus side, it has provided us photographers with some different perspectives.

Great pics -it must have been a bit cold out there but the 1966-69 ones at the bottom of the page are very interesting too!
I particularly like the one of Deltic 3 outside the elephant house at the Pass Loco. Full yellow end on green was never my favourite combo though. 1A75 - that was an overnight EDB-KX, wasn't it Stevie G? 2320 perhaps? Looking beyond the loco and the infamous chimney of Battlebridge Road Road Motors depot hoves into view with that distinctive red cowl prominent. In later years the chimney started to fail and was propped up by scaffolding. By the mid 1980's the chimney had parted into two halves with a gap in the middle -the scaffolding holding the whole thing together!
5646 taking the ECS out with "1S" in the back blind box brings back a few memories of 1 shunt and that lovely shot of the inside of the suburban with Cravens present - you can almost smell (& taste) the exhaust.

Sorry Andy, can't recall what A75 was.
Don't actually recall the Up train 'A' numbers getting that high, in the late '60s anyway, so wonder if it was a Down train, of when the ECML anglo-scottish trains used to utilise 'A' in that direction as well? (I recall that the 20:00 KX departure, later 1S60, had been 1A60. But I don't recall there later being a 1S75)
Mick, I've a feeling you'd like captions as accurate as possible, so "1569 leaves Kings Cross stabling point, date unknown. ...", is actually passing between the south spur and the shed (direction not obvious to me), rather than exiting the stabling point (unless the captioner knew that 1569 was coming out of the shed before leaving 'Passenger Loco' moving north).
As to some of the unknowns; In the 5646 photo, in case it helps a little, the new Box is up but the old signalling is still in use on the 'departure side' of the station, so I think it's some time during the period, early 1971 to about Feb.1977.
The 'unknown' of D1543 on the Down Fast at Potters Bar still has the old signalling visible, so before 1973/4: Perhaps it was the same date as on the other one further down, of D1792 and the tank train on the Down Slow, '5/6/1968'; the spot and ambient light look very similar.
Lastly D6728 on the UF at Wood Green, I think it looks like Wood Green No.3 still had its nameboards, so was presumably still operational, which I think, would make it no later than possibly sometime in 1967, or perhaps more likely 1966.
