Dean Sidings Spring 2012 Catalogue
I have scanned in a copy of the catalogue picked up at Warley yesterday if anyone is interested. I have it in pdf format file size around 4MB so too big to attach here I think. Not sure how to reduce it in size!
If anyone would like me to e-mail a copy then send me a PM and I'd be pleased to oblige.

I'd recommend editing your email address out of a public forum, Wilson.

Or at least make it a bit more cryptic.
Most subjects, models and techniques covered in this thread are now listed in various categories on page1

Re: Dean Sidings Spring 2012 Catalogue
It's now been my pleasure to send out 10+ pdf copies of the Dean Sidings Catalogue. The offer remains for anyone else who is interested.
I am sure I would not be alone in being very interested to hear if anyone purchases any of the products, and how they get on with them.
I need to find a few moments to get back to my Dean Sidings B17/5. When I do I'll post a few more pics on my thread.
Have a good weekend!
Jim

Re: Dean Sidings Spring 2012 Catalogue
Any word in it about his proposed N gauge Robinson 1B (LNER L1/L3)?
Oh, and don't forget to tell him how many people you have forwarded his catalogue to. If any of those turn in to sales you should accept a nice discount for yourself I think...
regards,
Will

Re: Dean Sidings Spring 2012 Catalogue
There is a reference under the 2MM "future releases" heading:
DS222A GCR/LNER/BR L1/3 2-6-4T
No price is quoted or any indication of timing I'm afraid.
Never thought about any discount! Just happy to assist fellow enthusiasts!
I might be tempted to try another Dean Sidings product myself if others report favourably. Years ago I "built" a Jaycraft J17, J19 and D16/3 which were similar to Dean Sidings products. I did an OK job on them but the chassis were the older crude Triang/Hornby products and the models just couldn't stand next to the newer finer RTR models.

Re: Dean Sidings Spring 2012 Catalogue
I made his B17/5 a couple years back, not a bad kit. Made a few changes as I wanted loco drive so fitted a Bachmann B1 chassis
I am about to also make a start on his W1 too

Re: Dean Sidings Spring 2012 Catalogue
Thanks for posting the B17/5 pics. That black and white image is really atmospheric!
I need to finish lining mine, add handrails and nameplates etc. Time is my enemy at the moment.
I'd be really interested to see how you get on with the W1. Are you using a Railroad A4 chassis as Dean Sidings recommend?
