Evening all
Ilkeston was on the ex-GNR line from Derby to Basford and hence to Nottingham. It was called Ilkeston North and the Midland station was Ilkeston Town.

Not sure, the transfers came from pow sides and they do match up with photos.

I'm sure someone on here might know the answer.

Hi Rusty,

That looks absolutely super. Could you give us a little more info please. Is it from a kit or scratchbuilt?

Regards,

Vernon

Very nice work!
Would that be a B8?

G'day all
That is a beautiful B2. I have a Kays kit to build one in 4mm. If it ends half as good as your 7mm, I shall be happy.
The B8 was the mixed traffic version of the B2, with smaller wheels and a straight footplate.

Not been posing on here for a while so here is the latest loco which was recently finished.

It is a GER Little Sharpie built from a Peter K kit to OO gauge.
